After Monday night, Lionel Messi has seven.
Messi, 34, effectively retained the trophy he last won in 2019 — controversially, the award was not handed out by France Football last year because of the coronavirus pandemic — after a year in which he ended his long wait for an international winning the Copa America with Argentina, and left Barcelona, the club where he had spent all of his career, for PSG.
Lionel Messi has won the Ballon d’Or seven times, two more than his rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
Soccer fans did a questionnaire to all of their readers and workers those people all together are 500000 people, who when answering the questions said that Lewandowski should have won it, they also say that Ronaldo should have 6 Balloon D’Or and Messi 5.
My opinion (Miguel Barbosa CEO and writer) is that Messi shouldn’t have won this prize 7 times but 5, let me explain why. Messi won the Ballon D’or in various years and many were very suspicious
2008: Ronaldo won it fairly.
2009: Messi deserved it
2010: Messi did have a great season, but Ronaldo had less appearance’s more goals assists, trophies and player of the game trophy, but Messi won
2011 & 2012 Messi won fairly
2013 & 2014 Ronaldo won fairly
2015: Neymar had a better season than Messi, but they unfairly choose Messi
2016 & 2017 Ronaldo won it fairly
2018 & 2017 Messi won fairly
2021 again unfairly Lewandowski should have won but Messi won
So if Ballon D’Or was fair Ronaldo would have 7 and Messi 5. I hope you guys understand this is just an opinion.
